Institutional Agenda 2021-2024

Based on our mission, we are apolitical, non-religious and a non for, profit organization, created to promote and defend the interests and rights of our membership before the governments of El Salvador and the United Kingdom, regulatory entities, multilateral institutions, the national and international business community, civil society, the academic sector, as well as thinking tanks and NGOs.

In close collaboration with the British Embassy in San Salvador, we support our membership and the British and Salvadoran business sectors so that they may maximize the business, trade and investment opportunities forthcoming from the UK-Central America Association Agreement.

We strive to benefit our members while at the same time contribute to improving the competitiveness of El Salvador, through the activities of our various committees

In close collaboration with the British Embassy in San Salvador broaden and promote BRITCHAM El Salvador’s role at the national and international level by actively interacting with other, private and public institutions, that also have the objective of promoting business and investment relations between the United Kingdom and El Salvador, such as:

 

  • Department of International Trade (United Kingdom).
  • The Union of British Chambers of Central America and Panama
  • The close to two dozen BritChams operating throughout Latinamerica.
  • London Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
