Reforms to the free zones law

On August 15, 2023, the Legislative Assembly approved reforms to the Free Zones Law, having
been published in the Official Gazette number 157, volume 440 of August 25, 2021.
One of its most relevant reforms is the incorporation of new activities that can be carried out
under the tax benefits established in said Law, such as: cultivation, processing and
commercialization of species of flora or unprocessed foods, produced under natural or artificial
systems…
